Terwijl ik onze steenhoop een beetje ordentelijk in de mal legden. / While I placed our rocks in the mould.
Ondertussen merk ik op dat we toch PVC-buizen in onze steenhoop gaan gebruiken omdat ik vrij veel langwerpige vissen ga houden (Macrognathus aculeatus, Sturisoma panamese, Erpetoichthys calabaricus). / In the meantime, I mention that we are going to use PVC-pipes in our pile of rocks, because I'll have a lot of oblong fish (Macrognathus aculeatus, Sturisoma panamese, Erpetoichthys calabaricus).

Dan wordt er besloten dat we de randen van de buizen zullen opschuren. Volgens Tim kan ons 'nief machien' dat óók. / Then, there is decided that we'll sandpaper the edges of the pipes. According to Tim, our new piece of equipment, is able to do that, too.

Wacht nu eens efkes... Die vorm zenne'k vroeger al eens tegengekomen... / Wait a moment... I've seen that shape before...

Da's al bij al nog gene zatte zever... / So, this is no joke...
Efkes een slokske thee en dan gaan we dat ding een van naderbij bestuderen. / First finishing my cup of tea. Then, I'm going to study our new piece of equipment.
Goed, ik schuur de PVC-buis op. / Alright, I sandpaper the PVC-pipe.
De bedoeling was om de stenen, die Tim ondertussen gesneden had, met tegelijm te bezetten. / The intention was to coat the stones with tile adhesive, that Tim has cut in the meantime.
Maar, we ervaren een acuut gebrek aan tegellijm om dat plan ook uit te voeren... / However, we excperience an acute lack of tile adhesive...
Dus, we veranderen het geweer van schouder. / So, we set out new goals for the day.
En zetten de malletjes klaar. / And, prepare the moulds.
Want, ik geloof niet dat we er al komen... / Because, I don't believe that we have already enough of rocks.
Met het aantal stenen waarover we beschikken. / With the number of rocks that we have today.
Dus maken we er nog wat bij. / So, we make some new rocks.
