De Grote Schoonmaak. / The Great Cleaning Up.

Gisterenavond, in 't laat, bereidden we onze werktafel voor op het epoxyceren.  De epoxy gaan we morgen halen (5 kilo, om te beginnen). / Yesterday evening, we prepared our table for using epoxy.  We're going to buy epoxy tomorrow (5 kilo to start with).

Zo spoelen wij de pistolen van onze airbrush uit.  Met warm water, de hele nacht in laten weken. / We rince the pistols of our airbrushes like this.  We let them soak in hot water all night long.

We hebben onze werktafel leeggeruimd.  De beschermingsplastiek zag er niet uit. / We cleared our table.  The plastic sheet didn't look so well.

We vonden hetzelfde slachtoffer als verleden keer.  Hier plooit hij de beschermingplastiek samen. / We found the same victim as the previous time.  Here, he's folding the plastic sheet together.

Het werkblad eronder zag er ook al niet uit. / Underneath it didn't look that well, neither.

Dus, kuisen was de boodschap. / So, cleaning up was the message.

Het resultaat: een vlekkeloos werkblad! / The result, an immaculate table.

De randen gaan naar omhoog zodat er een kuip ontstaat, met het oog op epoxyceren. / The edges go up, so our table becomes a tub.

Dan, het vastnieten van de nieuwe beschermingsplastiek. / We stapled the new sheet on the table.

Tim had het idee van de plastiek niet aan de randen te nieten, zodat we die nog altijd op en neer kunnen zetten. / Tim had the idea not to staple the plastic sheet on the edges, so they can still go up and down.

Oeps...  Een scheurtje... / Oops...  A crack...

Ik laat het nieten aan Peter, die ook eens wil proberen. / I let Peter use the nailgun.  He wants to try it, too.

En, het lijkt hem nog te lukken ook. / And, it seems to work.
