Today, I've been outside in order to shoot Hdr-negatives. These are 3 pictures from the same subject: one overexposed, one normally exposed and one underexposed. The big advantage of Hdr-photography is that this procedure makes it possible to make nice pictures, even if it's clouded. But, once outside, I noticed that the sun broke through the clouds very briefly and that I could use the sky to make normal pictures.
Now, you can't forget that these pictures aren't made to adapt on a normal way. It are after all Hdr-pictures. What's the moral of this story? The next time that I go out to shoot Hdr-negatives, I don't forget to bring along a second camera to take some normal pictures, if the weather allows it.
