Missestraat. / Missestraat.

Op 28/09/2012 had ik een nieuwe wandeling gepland, die me langs Lint naar Duffel leidde en terug.  Maar, die viel in't water omdat ik er maar niet in slaagde in Duffel de Missestraat naar Lint te vinden.  Die naar Lier vond ik wel.  Dat had allemaal zijn oorzaken, maar daarover later meer.

I had planned a new walk on 28/09/2012, that would lead me through Lint to Duffel and back.  However, it didn't work because once on the territory of Duffel, I couldn't find the Missestraat to Lier.  Fortunaly, I found the Missestraat to Lier.  All of this had its causes but I'll tell you about them later.

Ik begin deze wandeling aan het station.  Het fietspunt van Lier. / I start this walk at the station.  The Bicycle Point of Lier.

De Hulststraat. / The Hulststraat.

Het is duidelijk dat het de eerste keer is dat ik door de Hulststraat rijd.  Ik lijk er maar niet genoeg van te krijgen. / It's clear that it's the first time that I drive through the Hulststraat.  I just can't get enough of it.

Hoog-Lachenen.  Ik hoop om straks terug te keren via die weg. / Hoog-Lachenen.  Lateron, I hope to return by following that road.

De Bremstraat. / The Bremstraat.

Dit heet ook de Bremstraat.  Net als elke straat in deze omgeving.  Blijkbaar had men geen inspiratie meer om nieuwe straatnamen te verzinnen, toen ze deze straten legden. / Here, it's called the Bremstraat too.  Just like any street in these surroundings.  Apparently they had no more inspiration to come up with new names of streets, when they made these roads.

Dan wordt de zon verduisterd door wolken.  Voor de rest van de wandeling, vrees ik. / Then, the sun is blocked by clouds.  It is for the rest of this walk, I'm afraid.

Ik vervolg mijn weg over de Bremstraat in de richting van Duffel. / I continue my way, over the Bremstraat in the direction of Duffel.

De Missestraat. / The Missestraat.

Een zijstraat van de Missestraat, heet ook Missestraat en leidt naar Lint.  Het is deze straat die ik zoek. / A side street of the Missestraat is called the Missestraat too and it leads to Lint.  It's this street that I'm looking for.

Volgens Google Maps vertrekt die hier ergens.  Maar, ik kan haar niet vinden. / According to Google Maps it starts here somewhere.  However I can't find it.

Dus, ik naar huis. / So, I'm drving home.
