Op 30 september was het één van de laatste dagen van het zomerseizoen, waarop het schitterend weer was. Een uitstekende gelegenheid om de tocht naar Duffel en Lint te hernemen, die de vorige keer in 't water viel, omdat ik een straat niet vond. Ik besluit om de tocht om te keren, dus eerst rijd ik naar Lint via Hoog-Lachenen en dan vervolg ik m'n weg naar Duffel via de Missestraat en Senthout om uiteindelijk naar Lier terug te keren via de Bremstraat.
On 30 September it was one of the last days in the summer-season this yewar, that the weather was splendid. A perfect occasion to try my walk to Duffel and Lint, with the intention of finishing it. The previous time, I couln't finish this walk because I couldn't find a street. I decide to follow the samen route, but the other way around. So, I'll drive first to Lint by using Hoog-Lachenen, after that I'll turn to Duffel by the Missestraat and Senthout and then I'll return to Lier by using the Bremstraat.

Maar er wordt een nieuw wegdek gelegd in de Bouwenstraat. Deze werken zijn begonnen op 25/04/2012. Dit is de staat van de Bouwenstraat, 6 maanden later. De werken worden naar het schijnt uitgevoerd door een éénmanszaak. / But, they're constructing a new road in the Bouwenstraat. This construction has begun 25/04/2012. So, this is the state the Bouwenstaat finds itself in, even after 6 months. The company, responisble for these works, seems to be a one-person company.

Wanneer de Kinderstraat het territorium van Lint verlaat en dat van Duffel betreedt, krijgt de Kinderstraat een andere naam: de Missestraat. Onze politici wensen respect. Maar, zolang ze zich als kleine kinderen gedragen, zullen ze er nooit krijgen. / When the Kinderstraat leaves the territory of Lint and enters the territory of Duffel, the Kinderstraat receives another name: de Missestraat. Our politicians want to be respected. But, as long as they behave like little children, they never will be respected.
Dat is waarom ik de vorige keer de Missestraat niet vond. Het wordt een grintpad. / That's why I didn't find the Missestraat the previous time. It becomes a gravel path.
