Betere Foto's, deel XXIV. / Better Pictures, part XXIV.

Ik heb m'n volledig foto-archief (12.000 foto's in 2 jaar tijd) nagekeken en herleid tot 890 foto's. Hieruit zal ik m'n beste foto's (een 100 tot 150-tal) destilleren.

I have revised my complete archive of pictures (12.000 pics after just 2 years) and reduced it to 890 pictures. Out of these, I'll destill my best pictures (between 100 and 150 pics).

Dit is het vierentwinstigste deel van m'n betere foto's.   Dit deel is volledig gewijd aan één reportage over een zonsondergang die ik fotografeerde boven Anderstad, het natuurgebied in Lier.  Een regenbui zat ertussen en nadien zag ik de natuur terug tot rust komen.


This is the twenty-third part of my better pictures.   The topic of this part is a report about a sunset, that I took pictures of, above Anderstad, the nature-reserve of Lier.  Clouds and a shower were a part of it and I watched as nature came back to rest.

Toen ik vertrok.  Het gemeentehuis van Lier. / When I left.  The town hall of Lier.

Toen ik aan de Vesten kwam, was dit de weersituatie. / When I reached the Vesten, the situation of the weather was like this.

Onderweg naar Anderstad... / Along the way to Anderstad...

Begon het te druppelen... / It started to drip...

Dat groeide uit tot een heuse regenbui... / It grew until it became a real shower...

Eenmaal in het natuurgebied van Lier... / Once in the nature-reserve of Lier...

Nadien kwam de natuur tot rust... / After that nature resturned to a state of peace and quiet...

Boven Anderstad... / Above Anderstad...

Terwijl ik toekeek... / While I watched...

Hoe de regenbui verder trok... / How the shower continued its way...

Het werd steeds later... / It became later and later...

Ik trok nog één foto van de voortijlende wolken... / I took one more picture of the clouds...

En, vertrok naar huis... / And, left for my home...

Nog eenmaal keerde ik me om... / One more time, I turned around...

En trok toen deze foto's... / And took these pictures...

Onderweg naar huis... / Along the way home...

De Grote Markt te Lier, toen ik terugkeerde... / The Grote Markt of Lier, when I returned...
