Vandaag. / Today.

Zo zijn Tim en ik begonnen, vandaag. / Tim and I started today like this.

Eerst hebben we epoxy genomen en ik de twee potjes gegoten die jullie vooraan zien.  Een beetje improvisoir, maar we hadden niets anders bij de hand. / First we took the two components of epoxy and poured them in the small cans, you see in front.

Dan hebben we 2 platen op onze tafel gelegd... / We placed 2 plates on the table...

Met de epoxyborstels... / With brushes to use epoxy...

We hebben 80 gram epoxy gemaakt... / We've made 80 grams of epoxy...

En, een testplaat is uitgekozen. / And, a plate to test the epoxy was chosen.

Die ging zo goed... / Coating it with epoxy went so smooth.

Dat we prompt erna de tweede plaat epoxyceerden... / That we put epoxy on the second plate, right after the first plate...

Maar, toch heb ik de indruk dat ik iets vergeten ben... / And yet, I'm under the impression that I've forgot something...

Juist!  Ik zit nog in mijn zondagse pak! / Of course!  I'm still wearing my robes for Sunday!

Zoals je ziet, we hebben nog platen zat. / As you see, we still have plenty of plates.

Dus, maken we nog een portie. / So, we make another portion.

Eindresultaat van vandaag. / End-result of the day.

De achterkant van al onze platen heeft 1 laag epoxy gekrgen. / The backside from all of our plates is covered by 1 layer of epoxy.

Morgen volgt de 2de laag.  Overmorgen de 3de laag.  En dan nog 1 laag aan de voorkant en we hebben tijdelijk gedaan met epoxyceren (zeer tijdelijk). / Tomorrow follows the second layer.  The day after, the third layer.  And, still 1 layer on the front side and temporary we're done with epoxy (very temporarily).
