Vooruitgang in de Malletjes! / Progress in the Moulds.

Ik stond er vandaag grotendeels alleen voor, maar dat deerde me niet.  Er is veel gebeurd vandaag en ik ben tevreden over mijn dag. / For the larger part, I was on my own today.  But, I didn't care.  Much is done today and I'm happy with the result.

Goed, we waren dus gekomen aan de malletjes van 15x8x8-cm. / Alright, we were making moulds.  Today the moulds of 15x8x8-cm wre scheduled to be made.

Ik begin met een bodemplaat uit te boren. / I start with drilling holes in the baseplate.

Ziezo, gedaan. / That's done.

Dan worden de zijwanden geplaatst.  Hier is één zijwand geplaatst en zijn de twee extra vijsjes in de bodemplaat gezet om de mal enige stabiliteit te geven. / After that, the sidewalls are placed.  Here, one sidewall is attached to the baseplate and two extra screws are giving the mould stability.

Als een mens maar over één arm en hand beschikt, wordt hij creatief in het bedenken van oplossingen.  Hier houdt mijn boor mijn voorkant staande. / If a person has only one arm and hand, he starts to get creative in finding solutions.  Here, my drill holds the front upright.

Dat maakt het makkelijk om puntjes te zetten in de gaatjes van de elleboogjes. / That makes it easy to mark where the holes of the 'elbows' are.

Zoals je ziet. / As you can see.

De gemarkeerde voorkant ligt klaar om geboord te worden. / The marked front is ready to be drilled.

Na het boren.  De boorgaatjes zijn goed geplaatst. / After drilling.  The drilling holes are well placed.

Nu de vijsjes nog. / Now the screws.

Ik volg dezelfde procedure met de achterkant. / I follow the same procedure with the backside.

De eerste mal van 15x8x8 cm is af. / The first mould of 15x8x8-cm is finished.

Ik begin aan de tweede mal. / I start with the second mould.

De stabiliteitsvijsjes. / The two extra screws that give the mould some stability.

De zijwandjes. / The sidewalls.

Nog één kant te gaan. / Still one side to go.

Ik pas hetzelfde trukje toe met de nutella-bokaal. / I apply the same trick with the nutella-goblet.

Handig om puntjes te zetten. / It's practical to make marks.

Ziezo, de tweede mal is af. / The second mould is finished.

Terwijl ik aan de derde mal bezig ben, komt Tim langs om me te helpen. / While I'm making the third mould, Tim comes by to help me.

Met z'n tweeen gaat het vlug vooruit. / With two workers, things speed up.

Dus, al gauw verdrinkt Tim in de malletjes. / So, soon Tim drowns in moulds.

Ons werk zit erop.  De 6 malletjes van 15x8x8 cm zijn af. / Our work is done.  The 6 moulds of 15x8x8-cm are finished.

Voor Tim vertrekt, besluit ik van m'n tafel te dysondiseren. / Before Tim leaves, I decide to vacuum my table.

Ziezo, één gedysondiseerde tafel. / One clean table.

Omdat het nog maar 19.00 u is, besluit ik om nog wat voort te werken. / However, because it's only 19.00 h, I decide to work on.

Tim trekt nog snel deze fotokes voor hij vertrekt. / Tim shoots these pictures, before he goes.

De eerste mal van 10x8x8-cm is af. / The first mould of 10x8x8-cm is finished.

Ziezo, dat schiet op. / It went smooth.

Zo zet ik puntjes op de bodemplaat, als ik alleen werk. / That's the way I make marks, when I'm alone.

Ik boor de bodemplaat uit en bevestig de twee zijwandjes eraan. / I drill holes in the baseplate and attach two sidewalls at it.

Dan de achterkant. / Then, the backside.

Zo zet ik moeren vast. / That's my way to secure nuts.

Ik klem ze tussen mijn nagels en draai. / I jam them in between my nails and turn.

Dan de truk met de nutella-bokaal. / After that, the trick with the nutella-goblet.

Ziezo, dat zijn twee malletjes. / And, that are two moulds.

De beginingredienten voor de derde mal. / The ingredients to start the third mould.

Als ik ophou, zijn er drie malletjes af van 10x8x8-cm. / When I'm done, there are three mould of 10x8x8-cm finished.

Na de opruim ziet mijn tafeltje er zo uit. / After the clean up, my small table looks like this.
